Imagine seeing the sunrise over the lake to mark the official start of summer 2025…

On 21st June 2025, we welcomed over 200 customers at our Summer Solstice event at St Andrews Lakes.

Our staff were up bright and early to mark the special occasion – at 4am, everyone was ready to get on the lake, whether it be swimming or on a paddleboard.

The view was stunning. Thanks to the recent heatwave in Kent in the UK, the weather held out providing a clear view of the sunrise.

Guests could either swim our 300m or 600m swim course (induction required) or bring their own paddleboard for a relaxing way to start the day.

It was our busiest Summer Solstice event yet and we’re already looking forward to 2026!
