Both our family-friendly beaches, ‘Carp’ and ‘Coots’ are the same for our customers – both including all-day access to our privately owned lake and sandy beach, complete with a sun lounger*, free parking, lifeguard supervision. No matter which beach you book onto, you will have stunning views of the blue waters and be able to relax peacefully.
With capped visitor numbers and a clean, well-kept environment, it’s a peaceful place to unwind and soak up the sunshine.

Buoyancy aids must be worn by all children (under 18) and recommended for all adults when in the water. These are issued at check in free of charge.
Parasols are available but are limited and not guaranteed to be available. If bringing your own parasol or child sunshade tent, they must be sufficiently anchored down.
Dogs are not permitted on the beach area.
Kids are welcome to bring a packed Lunch or money for these days. We also have a Cafe & Pizzeria open all year round.
Our water quality is tested every month and always returns an ‘outstanding’ result, being only one grade off drinking water!

We have pay to use smart lockers available on site.
Family Friendly Beach
Laze on our family friendly beach for the day, playing in the soft sand and dipping in our clear waters. A deluxe sun lounger is included in each adult price.

Bookings
- Bookings are on a per-person basis, allowing you to spend the whole day with us on the beach.
- Please be aware that all other site activities are chargeable and we do recommend you pre-book these in advance to avoid disappointment during our busy times.
Safety First
- Buoyancy aids must be worn by all children (under 18) and recommended for all adults when
in the water. These are issued at check in free of charge. - We do recommend that aqua type shoes are worn in the water due to it being stoney as well as water levels being low during a very dry season.
- If bringing your own parasol or child sun shade tent, they must be sufficiently anchored down.
Terms & Conditions
- All sessions must be pre-booked.
- All other activities are chargeable.
- Entry wristbands must be worn at all times.
- It is your responsibility to check the weather forecast.
- No refunds will be made 72hrs prior to your booking.
- No refunds will be made in the event of wet, windy, cloudy or cold weather.
- No un-accompanied minors permitted.
- The supervision ratio must be adhered to of 1 adult : 3 children.
- Alcohol & drug free site.
- No smoking or vaping allowed.
- Own chairs or beach towel placement is not permitted.
- No windbreaks permitted.
- All individuals under the age of 18 must be supervised by a responsible adult.
- All individuals under the age of 18 are required to wear a properly fitted buoyancy aid at all times when in or around the water’s edge, without exception.
- Any person who is a non-swimmer or who is not confident in the water, regardless of age, must wear a properly fitted buoyancy aid when entering the water.
- No bathing outside of designated lifeguarded area which is clearly buoyed.
- Picnics/BBQ’s are not permitted.
- No audible music devices permitted.
- St Andrews Lakes staff reserve the right to not admit or to remove any persons not complying with rules or who are causing a disturbance to others.
- We reserve the right to reassign bookings to an alternative beach location on quieter days or when necessary due to staffing levels, or operational requirements. Guests will be notified via confirmation email the day prior to their booking. As both beaches offer an equivalent lakeside experience, such changes do not entitle guests to a refund or cancellation. These measures are in place to ensure a safe and efficient experience for all visitors.
