Booking & Payment

  • Bookings must be made online or by calling the office.
  • Bookings cannot be accepted without the appropriate completed booking forms; Electronic or paper format.
  • Any invoice must be settled within the 14 day terms. A surcharge of 20% will be applied if payment is outside of these terms, unless prior agreement has been made with St Andrews Aqua Park Ltd.
  • A mandatory £1.50 Ecology Contribution is applied per booking at checkout—whether online or via phone. 50p of this covers administrative and payment processing costs, while £1 goes directly towards supporting the ecological care of St Andrews Lakes This contribution directly funds habitat restoration, wildlife support (including bird hides, bee hotels and bat boxes), and educational features such as new signage and nature displays around the lake. It applies once per transaction (not per person) and is automatically added at checkout. When booking by phone, the fee will be added as a product and itemised on your receipt. Swim members are exempt from this charge. The fee is non-refundable unless the booking is cancelled in line with our policy (minimum 72 hours’ notice). Effective from 15th July 2025 until further notice. The fee amount and terms are subject to change with prior notice.
  • All Bookings will be confirmed by a ‘Roller’ email. If you do not recieve this, your booking has not gone through. Please try again or call the office. 

Cancellations

– By Client

  • All cancellations and amendments must be made by telephoning the office 01634 926 204 or by email. All emails must acknowledged by us. Office hours are 0900-1700hrs, 7 days a week.
  • No refunds will be given if cancelling within 7 days of your booked group activity.
  • Cancellations and amendments cannot be made within 72hrs of your booked session.
  • Last minute cancellations and amendments will not be accepted due to rain, windy weather or forecasted storms.

  • St. Andrews Aqua Park Ltd. reserve the right to cancel a course at any time if weather conditions are unsuitable.
  • St. Andrews Aqua Park Ltd. reserve the right to cancel a course at any time where participant numbers fail to reach the published minimum.
  • Where an activity has to be cancelled, St Andrews Aqua Park Ltd. will offer clients either alternate activity dates or credit.
  • In the event of cancellation, St Andrews Aqua Park Ltd. will not be held liable for other third party costs incurred associated with the booking such as coach hire, taxis etc.

Swim Membership Terms & Conditions

1. Membership Overview

  • The Swim & Wellness Membership entitles you to unlimited swims within the facility’s opening hours (subject to session booking requirements) and offers a 20% discount on Wellness Centre session and all swim events.
  • A minimum membership term of 6 months is required.
  • All swim sessions, wellness sessions and events must be pre-booked.

2. Open Water Swim Induction and NOWCA Membership

  • To participate in open water swimming, all members must complete a swim induction with St Andrews Lakes.
  • Members must also hold an active membership with NOWCA (National Open Water Coaching Association) to ensure compliance with open water swimming safety standards.

3. Booking Conditions

  • Open Water Swim Sessions: Unlimited swims are available, but all swim sessions must be booked online in advance.
  • Wellness Centre Discount: Members are entitled to a 20% discount on Wellness Centre sessions. These sessions must be booked in advance.
  • The membership is strictly for the individual who has signed up. It cannot be transferred, shared, or used by anyone else, including family or friends.
  • Event Discount: Members are entitled to a 20% discount on all swim events. These sessions must also be booked in advance.
  • No-Show Policy: If you fail to attend a booked open water swim session without cancelling at least 24hours advance, you will be charged for that session.
  • Wellness Centre Sessions and Swim Events: For any wellness centre session or swim event bookings, a 72-hour cancellation and amendment policy applies as per our standard booking terms and conditions. This mean no cancellations or amendments are allowed within 72 hours of the booking start time. Any changes or cancellations must be made more than 72 hours in advance of the session or event. Failure to adhere to the 72-hour policy will result in the loss of the session or event, and no refund or rescheduling will be offered.

4. Minimum Term & Cancellation

  • The membership has a mandatory minimum term of 6 months. After the initial term, the membership will automatically renew on a monthly basis unless cancelled.
  • To cancel the membership after the minimum term, you can do so via your account or calling the office during opening hours.

5. Payment & Price Changes

  • Membership fees are payable monthly in advance via direct debit or other approved methods.
  • Prices are subject to change. If a price change is implemented, 30 days’ notice will be provided.
  • Failure to pay the membership fees may result in suspension or cancellation of your access to the Swim & Wellness facilities until the outstanding balance is cleared.

6. Facility Usage

  • All members are required to follow facility rules, health, and safety guidelines.
  • The facility reserves the right to adjust opening hours or close temporarily for maintenance, events, or safety reasons. Members will be notified in advance whenever possible.

7. Wellness Centre Sessions & Swim Event Discount

  • Wellness Centre sessions are subject to availability. Members must book their sessions in advance to receive the 20% discount.
  • Swim Event spaces are subject to availability. Members must book their sessions in advance to receive the 20% discount.
  • The discount is non-transferable and cannot be combined with other promotions.

8. Health & Safety

  • All members are responsible for ensuring they are physically fit to engage in swimming and other activities at the Wellness Centre.
  • St Andrews Lakes is not liable for any injuries or accidents caused by pre-existing health conditions.

10. Amendments to Terms

  • St Andrews Lakes reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. Members will be notified of any amendments with at least 30 days’ notice before changes take effect.

By joining the Swim & Wellness Membership, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. Failure to adhere to these rules may result in membership suspension or cancellation.

Wellness Membership Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the St Andrews Lakes Wellness Centre Membership (“Membership”) offered by St Andrews Lakes Ltd (“we”, “us”, “our”), St Andrews Lakes, Rochester, Halling, Kent, United Kingdom. By purchasing or using a Membership, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Membership Types and Fees

The following monthly Membership tiers are available:

  • Bronze Membership: £55 per person per month, including 3 Wellness Session credits per month
  • Silver Membership: £85 per person per month, including 6 Wellness Session credits per month
  • Gold Membership: £125 per person per month, including 12 Wellness Session credits per month

1.1 All Memberships are charged monthly and are subject to a minimum commitment period of six (6) months.

1.2 A one-off joining fee of £35 per Member applies and is payable upon enrolment.

2. Membership Benefits

2.1 Membership includes the following discounts (subject to availability and exclusions):

  • 40% off standard classes (as defined in clause 2.3)
  • 20% off selected premium wellness classes (as defined in clause 2.3)
  • 20% off wellness events
  • 10% off Wellness Centre services
  • 10% off retail purchases

2.2 Membership also includes, upon joining:

  • One (1) St Andrews Lakes robe
  • One (1) guest pass (terms and availability apply)

2.3 Definitions of Standard and Premium Classes

2.3.1 Standard classes are Wellness Centre classes that are designated by us as standard classes and are generally delivered on a regular, recurring basis. At the time of publication of these Terms, standard classes are typically priced within our standard class pricing band, which is currently between £12.50 and £19.99 per session.

2.3.2 Premium classes are Wellness Centre offerings designated by us as premium classes, including but not limited to special classes, workshops, masterclasses, guest-led sessions, immersive experiences, or extended-format sessions. At the time of publication of these Terms, premium classes are typically priced at £20.00 or more per session.

2.3.3 The categorisation of any class as standard or premium is determined solely by us and may take into account factors including (but not limited to) format, duration, content, instructor, demand, and pricing.

2.3.4 Class pricing, classification, structure, and availability may be amended at any time. Changes to pricing bands or class categorisation shall not constitute a change to Membership benefits and shall not entitle Members to refunds, compensation, or additional discounts.

3. Use of Wellness Credits

3.1 Wellness Session credits may only be used for standard Wellness Centre sessions. Credits cannot be used for wellness events or special event sessions.

3.2 Credits are issued monthly and must be used within the same calendar month. Unused credits will expire and cannot be rolled over to future months.

3.3 Credits are non-transferable and may only be used by the named Member. Credits cannot be shared, sold, or gifted to others.

3.4 Session bookings may not be changed, amended, or cancelled with less than forty-eight (48) hours’ notice. Where sufficient notice is not provided, the session credit will be forfeited.

4. Guest Pass

4.1 The included guest pass entitles one guest to access a standard Wellness Centre session only.

4.2 Guest access is subject to availability and all site rules and safety requirements.

4.3 The Member is responsible for their guest’s conduct at all times.

5. Payment Terms

5.1 Membership fees are payable monthly by direct debit or other approved payment method.

5.2 Failure to make payment may result in suspension or termination of Membership.

5.3 Prices are subject to change. Members will be given reasonable notice of any price increases after the minimum term has ended.

6. Cancellation and Termination

6.1 Memberships may not be cancelled during the initial six (6) month minimum term, except where required by law.

6.2 After the minimum term, Membership may be cancelled by providing at least 30 days’ written notice.

6.3 We reserve the right to suspend or terminate Membership without refund if a Member breaches these Terms, site rules, or behaves in a manner that is unsafe, abusive, or disruptive.

7. Health, Safety and Conduct

7.1 Members must comply with all safety instructions, signage, and staff directions while using the Wellness Centre.

7.2 Members use the facilities at their own risk and must ensure they are medically fit to participate in wellness activities.

7.3 We reserve the right to refuse access to any Member who appears unfit, under the influence of drugs or alcohol, or poses a risk to themselves or others.

8. Changes to Facilities and Services

8.1 We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or withdraw facilities, sessions, or services where reasonably necessary, including for maintenance, safety, or operational reasons.

8.2 Such changes do not entitle Members to refunds, provided reasonable alternatives are offered where possible.

9. Liability

9.1 Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability which cannot be excluded under UK law.

9.2 Subject to the above, we shall not be liable for loss, damage, or injury arising from use of the facilities except where caused by our negligence.

10. Data Protection

10.1 Personal data will be processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and our Privacy Policy.

11. Governing Law

11.1 These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.

11.2 Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
