Can I cancel/amend my booking if the weather is not what I wanted?
We have a 72-hour cancellation and amendment policy, as we need to schedule and pay our staff in advance.

We recommend checking the weather forecast before you book — forecasts are usually accurate around five days ahead. Everyone’s idea of “good” or “bad” weather can vary, so it’s up to you to decide if conditions suit you.

Please note: we do not offer refunds or reschedules due to weather, unless we deem it unsafe on the day.

This policy is in place because staffing is based on confirmed bookings. You are welcome to transfer your booking to a friend or family member at no extra cost, providing they have signed a waiver with us.

We do not currently offer discounts for NHS or Blue Light card holders, though this is under review.

We do not currently offer concession tickets for carers. All participants must hold a valid ticket. Spectator areas are available for Aqua Park and Zip Zone bookings.

If you have managed your own cancellation through our booking portal, you will need to request a refund from us.

Depending on you card issuer, refunds may take 3-7 days to show in your account.

Gift cards cannot be used in the café, which is operated independently. The café accepts both card and cash payments.

We accept all the major payment cards as well as Apple or Google Pay. Cash is not handled at the site, apart from our on-site cafe.

Unfortunately, we don’t have camping facilities at the moment. However, you can book one of our on-site floating lodges through HoSeasons, or enjoy a stay in your motorhome via Pitch Up.
No — for safety reasons, children must be accompanied by an adult (18+) on the water at all times, unless they are taking part in an instructor-led sailing or watersports session.
There must be at least one adult on a pedalo or in a kayak with them — we cannot make exceptions on this, as safety is our top priority.
You’re more than welcome to bring guests to activity bookings! However, please note beach access is reserved for those with bookings.

For the Kids Aqua Park, additional non-participating spectators are welcome, and each child’s ticket includes free entry for one supervising adult.

For the Zip Wire experience, there’s a designated Spectators Zone.
You can enjoy a stay in your caravan via Pitch Up. We permit VW type camper-vans, as long as you are using it to carry your watersports equipment. This is due to current planning permissions. We cannot permit you to set up ‘camp’ for your duration with us.
BBQs aren’t allowed around the estate, but you can rent our unique BBQ Cabin for a fun experience! If you’re hungry, our on-site Café and Pizzeria serve up some delicious options!
Picnics are not allowed due to previous issues with littering, which harmed local wildlife. Food and drink are available year-round from our on-site café and pizzeria. Menus, including allergen details, are available online.
Unfortunately we do not allow fishing at St Andrews Lakes. There is strictly no fishing in any areas at St Andrews Lakes, including the holiday lodges.
Parking is free and included with your booking. Overflow parking is available and the security team will provide directions if needed. Please note that overnight stays in vehicles are not permitted.
Yes, a disabled toilet is located near the Wellness Centre and can be accessed with a RADAR key, available from the office, shop, or Wellness Centre. A limited number of Blue Badge parking spaces are also available nearby.
Smoking and vaping are only permitted in the designated smoking area. Please ask a member of staff for directions.
While there isn’t a full walking route around the lake, there are plenty of places to explore! You’re welcome to stroll to our Café, Shop, or along the sand if you’ve booked a Day Lounger. Please note, during high season, bookings are required to enter the premises.
Beach: We have sadly had to make the decision to not allow dogs on the beach due to owners not being responsible in clearing up any mess.

Cafe: Well behaved dogs are welcome around the cafeteria area, but must be on a lead.

Water: To bring your dog along on the water, PuP’s on SuP’s sessions are available to book through the Bring Your Own page.
You must have completed a swim induction here at St Andrews Lakes to swim here. For other activities, such as paddle boarding and our Aqua Parks, you do not need an induction. Beach tickets provide access to the water up to the buoy line only. This area is suitable for paddling and cooling off, but not for full swimming.
As you can imagine, we receive enquiries from many fantastic charities. While we’d love to support everyone, we’re only able to make this offer to selected charities and are sorry for any disappointment caused.
Although we would love to show you the behind-the-scenes magic, unfortunately work experience is not something we offer. You can check out our available jobs here
We’re lucky to receive a high number of applications, especially in the lead‑up to pre‑season, so the best way to apply is by emailing jobs@standrewslakes.co.uk. This helps us keep everything organised and ensures every application is reviewed fairly. (Phoning or popping down in person won’t increase your chances, but we’ll always be happy to see you when you visit for an activity!)

To be considered, your application must include a cover letter and clearly state the job title you’re applying for. We can only accept applications completed by the applicant themselves.

When you apply, you’ll get an automatic email confirming we’ve received your message. Due to the volume of applications, we cannot reply to everyone and replies to successful candidates can take a little time. If you’re successful, we’ll be in touch directly. If you don’t hear from us, unfortunately it means you haven’t been selected on this occasion — but please don’t be discouraged. We may keep your details on file for up to six months in case a suitable role opens up.

To help us process applications fairly and efficiently, please make sure you include the following:
* A cover letter — applications without one cannot be accepted.
* The job title you are applying for — we cannot review applications that don’t clearly state the role.
* Your own details only — we can only accept applications completed by the applicant themselves, not on behalf of someone else.

Thank you again for thinking of us. We’re grateful for every application and love hearing from people who want to be part of the growing St Andrews Lakes team.
