On Saturday 6th September, St Andrews Lakes hosted its first-ever ‘Zip in the Dark’ as part of the Full Moon Event – and what a night it was!

Over 50 brave thrill-seekers took the plunge, gliding across the lake under the night sky for a totally unique adventure. Instead of daylight, riders were guided by glow sticks, light-up helmets, and our colour-changing tower – making the launch as spectacular as the ride itself.

Zip Zone Manager Max said: “I can’t believe how much of a success it was! People absolutely loved it – a totally different experience and so much fun. Perfect for adrenaline lovers. I’m very much looking forward to the next one!”

Tickets were just £25 per person, and the response was incredible. With plenty of photos and videos captured across our social media, the energy of the night speaks for itself – this is one event you won’t want to miss again.

The next Zip in the Dark will take place on Tuesday 7th October 2025, followed by another special edition on 1st November 2025 for Halloween.
